Margaret's busy day

My little darling came home safe and sound, and as feisty as ever. She pranced out into the waiting room, seemingly no worse for wear despite having had quite a few teeth extracted. And, I am thankful to say, she did not throw up in the car on the way home. My other dogs have all reeled around like little drunkards after any surgery, but not Margaret. When we got home, she gobbled up her dinner and then was helping me clean my bedroom. Suddenly, I looked around and she was not there. Usually, she is wherever I am at all times. Worried, I called her. No response! I looked around but no Margaret. I went down stairs, fearing the worst. I called, and no Margaret. I looked under the dining room table – one of her retreats when she is doing something naughty, and saw a orangish tail sticking out. I approached to inspect, and saw that she was clutching something close to her bosom, and didn’t want me to see it. She had gone clandestinely into the pantry and gotten herself an apple and was eating it, trying all the while to keep a very low profile. She is definitely feeling better. Here is a picture of the apple and of her meds – an antibiotic for her teeth, and an anti-inflammatory for her little aging hip.
Thank you to all who prayed for her. Your prayers were answered, and Margaret and I are grateful.

Awwwwww - bless her little heart:)!
Glad she's feeling better. I always did as I got my teeth extracted - anything is better than a toothache!

"Kennst Du den Unterschied zwischen dem Alphorn und einer Blockflöte?" - "Das Alphorn brennt länger."
