An anxious day

My poor little Margaret is having dental surgery right now. She is an old lady, and I am worried about her. Faithful readers, will you please say a prayer to whomever it is that you pray to, that all will go well? Thank you. She was so pathetic and tiny when I handed her over. And she seemed to have a good idea that something unpleasant was about to happen, not to speak of having just missed her breakfast.

I do hope your lovely old girl is alright. I lost a 14 year old Goldie and a 22 year old cat last year and I know how much we love our older pets, who depend on us so much.

What is your dog's breed? She looks like a little Cairn terrier.

That is the sweetest little face! I can imagine how hard it was to leave her. It will be so nice to scoop her up and have her at home again where you can give her lots of TLC.

Thanks, Eleanor and Laura,
Margaret is a Norwich terrier, which is a sort of cousin to a Cairn. I had a little Cairn boy, Leslie, the best dog ever (along with Margaret, of course), who died a few years ago at 16.
